The only thing about it to recommend that bike for you would be the statement 'looking to get into ATVing' 150CC is small - just past kid sized. With the racks and all, that doesn't look like a lightweight bike. Add in your weight and you will be lugging on any hill. The price is good because it's a Chineese off-brand. Reliability will be questionable. In short, I think it would give you a few weeks of fun as a new rider and then you will quickly want something with more qualityand power.
Why not spend about $2K on a used major brand bike. In most cases, you can ride it for a while and then sell it for almost the same money if youdecide you want something different. It's hard to tell exactly wht ATV is best for you until you get some riding experience.

O.k. you are super excited about getting a quad like I said before calm down and think about the next move, you want a quad think, do you want to be working on a chin. toy or do you want a real bike that you can get cool upgrades, cool wheels. tires, jet kits, suspension, extended axle, etc. tires don't matter in the purchase of a quad they can be bought any where. If you save your money and buy a major brand you have a building block to work with, everything else can come later. Please consider a major brand, yes used and fixing it up as you get the money. It will be well worth it!

I have lots of friends who bought these Chinese "off-brand" machines and lived to regret it! Lots of posts in here from folks with the same experience. Thing breaks down quickly, can't get parts, can't get service......
Find a used machine from one of the big manfacturers, that have a proven track record. Honda 250EX for example.

The Suzuki Z400 or Honda 400EX are good reliable quads that you can find used for a decent price. The parts available for them are endless! The chinese quads are nowhere near as reliable and they are always so hard to find parts for them when they break, and by the way , judging from the posts on these forums, that happens often. Just my 2 cents.

i would have to agree with the others. 150 cc's would probably be for a 12 year old and younger or very small person. i would recommend at least a 300 cc quad and also do yourself a favor and get a well known name. (arctic cat, honda, yamaha, suzuki, kawasaki, etc) Keep in mind there are many used quads out there. check out atvtraderonline.com
