hey guys used to be a proud 250r owner and used to be a member here many years ago before i joined the military. im trying to jump back into the quad scene and have been out and about pricing 08 trx450r's today. i know pricing depends on the time of year, old model closeout's, location and whatnot. today i tried out my haggling prowess and got down to 6500 for the elec start and free helmet, not incl. taxes.

just wondering how you guys feel about that deal, ive been outta the atv community so long im not sure what a good price is nowadays and i know finding the invoice price, prolly wont happen. thanks for any help and i hope to be as active here as i used to!

 

Hahaha, I've had this problem before; walked into the Yamaha/Honda dealer in town and told the sales rep that I might be interested in the SE model of the 2007 Raptor 700. Really nice quad but close to 12 grand including taxes up here in Canada, I was hoping the quad prices would go down with everything else, but this was in 07 after all. I asked what kind of deals I can get, he said maybe 100 or 200 bucks off, if he would've offered me a helmet, well that would've been a great deal. As for the US, well I've seen the retail price and considering the elec start and the helmet, I'd say that its a pretty good deal, but get him to throw in a hat in you can.
