What to ask

Ok cool. found out that the miles are somewhere between 2000 and 3000. Which to me is not to bad. Its not 500 miles but its not 10,000 either. If the owner took care of it and didnt beat it up, i imagine that i can still get plenty of life out of it. Especially since it is a yamaha. The guy im working with is really funny and nice. he told me that i have asked my last question and that i must be one of those IT engineers because i seem to have researched everything out before i have even made a purchase. he told me he is not out to get me and that he is not out to rip me off.
The tires he said are in really good condition, he just wanted to be nice and throw some new ones on for me since i am good friends with his buddy but if i dont want that then he wont do it.
I asked him, "So dude, are you puttin new tires on because they are thrashed when he rolled it." he siad " What the He!! dude, you kiddin me, he didnt roll it. im puttin new tires on it because your Chindo's buddy and they would look nice on it, but he!!, if you dont want me to then i wont" But he was laughing when he said this. I think i can trust him.

if it is 3000 miles then thats about 100 hours worth if the average speed was 30MPH 3000/30 = 100 hours if at 20 MPH thats 150 hours. Suggested oil change is every 100 hours. One oil change is all this engine has possibly had. Hopefully more.

The 660 Grizz has the option via a push button handle bar control to be in 2 wheel, 4 wheel, or full 4 wheel drive. See if he is going to install stock tires. If so tell him you will fay the difference for a set of 6 ply bias or radials. The most noticable mod you can do is switch from factory tires to a 6 ply aftermarket

The guy called me back today from the dealer and said to come up thursday to test drive it. he said that they are required to do a two week service on every used machine before they sale them. He siad they ordered some new parts for it so it should be as good as new. Im glad that they fixed what ever it was.. i didnt have time to ask what needed to be replaced because i was busy and had to hang up. the important thing is that whatever it was, it is now replaced and in great shape.
