#1
Well I have been trying to decide what kind of ATV i wanted to buy for a month now.. I was almost convinced on getting a 400 ex.. BUt I am starting to think 4x4 is the way to go for me. I am looking for something to take out in the woods and mountains,, Maybe plow my driveway.. I do not do a ton of extreme things.. more or less spend time with the family.. I am looking to spend abou $3000 for used one.. Maybe willing to go $4000.. Need some recomendations on the most reliable.
Thanks
Chris

Rancher 350, with a Warn 424 installed (turns it into selectable 2wd/4wd). I have a 350 that is nearly 10 years old now, and has thousands of hard a$$ miles on it, and not one single problem of any kind!!!

Offer 2500$ and see what happens.Look for signs of wear like sprockets and other stuff.</end quote></div>
Sprockets. LOL.
If NADA says it's worth $2,700 I wouldn't pay any more than that. They made the steering a lot easier in '01 so the '02 would be a good one to get. The reason the Sportsman 500 has been the world best selling quad several years in a row is because it's a great quad. They wouldn't sell a million Sportsmans if they weren't any good.
