LOL better than the Raptor NO!, but there are some very good quads out like the ones mentioned both the 400's and you might even take a look at the Polaris Outlaw 525 IRS or even the Honda 700XX.

If you are looking at the all new 09 Z400 that is a nice well rounded pkg. The motor is new with the with exception of some minor tweeks and EFI in a all new greatly improved chassis I would not even mind having one as a spare/backup quad!

You will get some people that say there are faster quads out of the box than a Raptor and that are cheeper yada yada but you will not find a better handling, more buildabile or bang for you buck quad than the Raptor! As I like to call it the allaround Quad! [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

 

the yami 700r is the big mans version of the 400ex basically.. 700r has GOBS of torque.. if you a mid size guy 6'3" and like 200-220 pounds youll be fine on a 400ex..

 

acually im just about 15 yrs old lol im on like 5'4 and 115lbs lol so umm u might think im crazy but i have been raised around speed threwout my life
i was thinking of a ltz 400 but i dont know if its what i want cause i want something that will last me and i wont conplain that i need a new quad, know what i mean? i dont really like honda (atvs) as much

 

Maybe try a Kawasaki KFX700

It has 4x4 too

 

no i would never only sport quads with a maual trans and the kfx 450 is way better
