go with the polaris it has alot of power for the tracks you want and it can do the work on the farm.

I am going to have to go with the majority. Since you have narrowed it down to those two, I would definitely go with the Polaris 550. The Honda is a good bike and I am not knocking it, but when you compare features, I believe you will get more from the Polaris.

 

I don't know how much gas a Polaris burns but on a recent trip on the cheese trail in Wisconsin my Griz 700 FI made 30 mpg. I would be interested to know what the Polaris will do. I am doubting that it will be much if any better.

 

Guys, other bikes keep being suggested (griz 700 the most!) but he's not interested in the! He has chosen two bikes that he likes, and wanted our opinions on those two, not other bikes. Besides, there could be tons of reasons why he isn't interested in the Grizzly.
