Default 400ex or not

Hello im new to the thread and live in ky. I have'nt ridden in 6 yrs do to back surgerey. But im ready and got quad fever. My past quads have been a bored and stroked kawasaki majave,2 piped and filtered warriors, and 2 modded banshees. But now i have been looking alot at the 400ex but have yet to ride 1. My riding will be on mostly farm land and wooded trails and gravel roads and i love to climb hills and ride wheelies. Im 5'9 at 175 so do u think the 400ex would be a good choice and my reason for picking this quad is its simplicity, weight and durability. thanks for any responses.

Virtually indestructable. Will run forever with just basic maintenance! Good handling and suspension. A true all-around machine. World's best trail quad! Great at wheelies and my favorite hillclimber do. But....out in the open it will be the slowest of the performance quads....but all its power gets to the ground. Will need an aftermarket exhaust, opened up airbox, and a rejet.....

Looks like lots of good discounts out there! Don't expect it to match a Shee in a drag race, but on a tight trail it will make a Shee look ridiculous.....
