Default Newbie test drove a used Polaris...What vibration is normal?

I've never owned a quad before and I test drove a used one from a private party the other day. How much vibration is normal, both in motion and stationary? I want to say there was some obvious vibration, but none of it sounded mechanical, nothing like a rough idle feels like, and the rest of the items on my check list checked out just fine. I walked away from the deal and the quad sold to someone else later that day. Five year old Sportsman 700 with just over 2000 miles on it.

If the ATV had mud tires on it, it is going to vibrate a lot more than normal while riding. But all ATV's I have ridden will vibrate a little, that is normal IMO.

Thanks. I probably walked away from a good deal but I'd rather error on the side of caution. There will be others for sale. This forum is very informative, I have some reading to do!

Quad riding takes some getting used to, they are not like the 4wd ATV and they can seem a little unstable to the newbee until you get used to the machine
