Sport or utility
#2
Jumping and donuts, it's best to have a sport machine. Wheelies on a sport or utility machine depend on how much power the machine has and how well it gets it to the ground. I've seen Can-Ams with the 800 and 1000 wheelie with ease. Also, the Sportsman and Scrambler with the 850 will wheelie.
If there is a lot of deep mud and hill climbs with large (over a foot) rocks the utility will crawl up. You have to get a lot of momentum up with a sport quad so rocks can cause a problem. I had a Kawasaki Lakota 300 and here in New England with rocks, deep mud and water holes, rocky hills, and snow, the utility machines are a better choice.
If it's mostly sand the sport is a lot more fun but I've seen plenty of guys go up steep sandy hills with utility machines too. The limiting factor for the sport quads is ground clearance. It can get you stuck fast in deep mud.
Hope this helps.

there arnt realy rocks that big and the climbs realy arnt that steep. I am pretty sure a sport can get up. But still not sure. When i was younger i had a sportsman 90 and i never got stuck. (maybe once or twice) but it still had the power to barely get up. A 400 ltz should be able to mud and climb better right?

We go on some rough trails when fishing and a few 2wd ATV come along. Its amazing the stuff they can get thought without help.
Get some decent tires on the back and your good to go.
