Default Kingquad 750 or 2014 Grizzly 700

Hi all,

Recently sold my Honda 420 and am ready to buy a new bike. Was set on polaris however after seeing many problems on here im no longer keen...

I've narrowed it down to the new 2014 grizzly 700 or a kingquad 750 (would probably be a 13' or 14')

I'm a bit of a power junkie and want the quickest of the two single cylinder machines. I also have a tendency to throw the bike around and hook donuts (something ill miss about a solid axle) so want the bike that will be the most stable.

It seems both of these bikes are very reliable. I do plenty of riding in sand and water and the odd bit of soft mud.

Thanks

2 good choices and to me they are both competitive in the same class. Grizz is and has been a proven atv and so has the king. Suzuki hasnt changed really anything in years and yamaha i think only changed the body a little. I would really be no help here i think. Between the two i think it would be a decision of comfort. I think they both come with rear sway bars so you can slide around like you want a little easier.

Not sure where your located but my friend just put his king quad up for sale. its camo,2009(nothing has changed since) and has power steering. moose front/rear bumpers, heated hand grips. It has 624 miles. 115 hrs. he is super particular about his machines so it was well taken care of. Every ride we went on was together and his never went into deep mud. He just bought a RZR so the atv needs to go. let me know if your interested and ill let him know.

If you go with the kq, be sure to get eps. Actually, not a bad idea with the grizz either.

I just sold my EPS Grizzly 700 and I ride with others and i ride with a KQ 750. IMO the only class the KQ beats the Grizzly in is power. The KQ is pretty quick but dont get me wrong the grizzly is not slow just not as fast as the KQ. In every other category I would pick the Grizzly but there is nothing wrong with either pick here.

I say Grizzly, would be the better machine all around.
KQ has a lil bit more power.

If your a power junkie, get the Outty 650 or 800.

They are very even ATVs.
I would let the price dictate that decision. Let the Suzuki and Yamaha dealer fight over you.
One may throw in a $500 winch or something.
The only minor thing I like about the KQ over the Grizzly is the extra headlight on the handle bars.
The Grizzly has a larger gas tank though to cancel that little advantage.

There is only 36cc difference between them not 50cc. Do not let the 700 vs 750 fool you.

Both will be a big leap over a 420 Honda, even a 550 Grizzly or 500KQ would be.
