Default 2016 Polaris Sportsman 1000

Hey everyone, I'm new here so please bear with me. I'm looking at purchasing a 2016 Sportsman 1000 for $8750.00 out the door (not including tax. I think this is a good deal but I would like some input from some other people. Thanks in advance!

Is it the Sportsman 1000 XP? If so, I say yes. But I'm confused. If the out the door price is $8750, then that means all applicable taxes, fees and charges are already added. If not, then the final price would be $8750 + applicable taxes, fees and charges.

Just make sure they don't tack on high freight, prep, make ready and document fees. Often dealers will advertise a low price to get people in the door and then the final price is much higher because they inflate these other cost.

If the true out the door price is $8750, I would buy it.

Is this a brand new 2016 model or used? If its brand new, that sounds like a pretty good price for a 1000. Even if slightly used, still not bad.

Not bad, retail price is a lot higher than that. A Can-am Outlander 1000 costs a lot more than that too and they have pretty much the same amount of power.

Money talks and poop walks. Try offering cash if you can. I got $1,000 off a dealer asking price on my Arctic Cat 700. Flashed cash, they went for it. Maybe they will eat the taxes.

I priced a Sportsman 1000 2 up machine last December at about $13000. This was before tax and freight and prep, etc. I thought it was a good machine and has some advanced features like the all wheel drive system. I was concerned about the reliability factor and would need an extended warranty. I also wanted some options like a snowplow and bumpers.

I think someone is trying hard to give away this leftover 2016. Check the NADA used 2016 Sportsman 1000 trade in price as this is about what you could expect to sell it for if you didn't like it for some reason. ATVs depreciate pretty quickly.

Considering that the MSRP on a new one is $11,999 I think it's a good deal.
