My uncle really wants to buy an atv. He wants an automatic,4x4 utility quad. I don't know what type to tell him to get. The two i told him about was the Grizzly and Sportsman or magnum. But they both have there down sides. I heard that the grizz is hard to put in gear and the sportsman and the magnum reliability problems.I was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions and if anyone owned one of the above and would be willing to tell me how they like it and how it runs. Thanks. Please reply.

I have a 2000 kodiak and I absolutely love it. It has the 2wd/4wd option. I ride it mostly in 2wd to get the sporty feel, but if I see some mud, then I can put it in 4wd. I have no complaints about it. It was ATV of the year in 2000. I would definitely buy another one. Good luck!

I own a 1998 Grizzly and have not had a moments trouble with getting it in or out of gear. It has 1175 miles on it and is still like new. Plenty of power and 2 to 4 wheel drive switch. I am looking for another one now to buy, thats how satisfied I am with it. I have a 2001 Arctic Cat 400 4X4 with 31 miles on it if they would be interested in it. I live in KY. and want $5000 for it. Check them out and the prices. Bought this one April/05
