My local Honda dealer told me that the price for a 2024 Fourtrax Rancher 4X4 TRX420FM1 (the base Rancher model, manual shift, no power steering) was $8700. Honda's website has an MSRP of $7099 plus $420 destination plus $200 freight surcharge. Quick math makes it $7700 so the extra $1000 is dealer prep? Can that be right? What would be reasonable? The dealer is in my town so I hope to make a deal with them.
