I think a Vinson would be a great machine, I think it all depends on how big you are.

how much do u weigh?, how tall are you?, what kind of power do u want?, 2-stroke or 4-stroke?, utility or sport?, how many cc's? what is the main use for it?, hunting, fishing, work, play, trail riding, sport riding, stuff like that i think those are the questions he wanted to know

I wrote "Vinson" in the first post. It is a 500cc, 4wd, utility atv.
I still weigh 160 pounds .... I will use it for trail riding and plowing snow.

I don't think weigh will be important on this quad. Even if I weight 300 pounds ...

I think that you will like the Vinson a lot. I've driven the atv and find the power awesome. It drives great. However it doesn't shift from forward to reverse like my Kodiak but works ok.

I would not be afraid to purchase the Vinson my self.

nelio, you missed the point that everyone was trying to make here.

Utility machines are not as easy to fit beginners as they are sportquads because it DOES matter about your size and weight. Most sport quads range around 475lbs. where the utilities average about 600lbs.

If you aren't capable of handling a machine of that size, you will not be happy with it.

That was the point. If you paid more attention to what was being asked instead of wanting to b*tch about someone asking your weight, you would have seen that they weren't offending you.

I am not perfectly bilingual. My first language is french. I am sorry if I hurt somebody.
I did not try to b*tch someone ... Maybe I have problem to find vocabular.

I just wanted to know if a 500cc will be difficult to handle for a guy like me.
(5'5" tall and 160 pounds) It was exactly this type of anwser that I needed Knowsalot.

I have rode a couple of times a Honda Trx300. I am not afraid of speed but I prefer just
to ride slowly. The thing is I don't want to buy a quad that I will trade in 2 or 3 years.

Thanks,

French people who is bad in english ...

nelio,

I would be cautious about getting a bigger ATV with your size. I don't know how old you are, but my nephew is 15, and about your size. He can have a little difficulty with my AC, especially when in 4WD. They get tough to steer the bigger and heavier they are.

If you are a stronger guy, you probably won't have any problems, especially if you intend to go slow most of the time.

Don't worry about offending anybody here. I think there is somebody else in this forum that tends to look for fights when none exist. Keep posting questions - most of us will be happy to help in any way we can.

Good luck.
