I am interested in purchasing a Kawasaki Mojave, my body weight is 210 and I am 6'0. I was wondering if this ATV has enough Horsepower to pull me around the common trail in the mountains and support a few jumps...........I would appreciate any info.................

From straight line racing a friends Mojave against a 300ex and a warrior, it runs about the same as as the 300ex and the warrior (except the warrior was faster on top end). The Mojave seemed to have plenty of power for trail riding and enough suspension for small jumps. It may be a built little small for you though.

primey,
Altho I have said more than once the Mohave is sort of the forgotten sport quad & somewhat under rated, I would think you would be well advised to look elsewhere, given your size & weight. Not only is it on the small side physically but for you it is rather small in displacement also. Yes, It wuold haul you around ok (so would a Honda 90), but I think you'd quickly find yourself looking for more performance than the 250cc engine can provide. I'd suggest you look at Honda 300ex, 400ex, or Warrior. which is the largest in physical size. While any of the above rides will cost you more initially, none will cost as much as buying a ride that will be inadequate for you very soon.
I ride a somewhat modified Warrior & I am 5' 10" & 155 lbs. It fits me just right for the style I ride. I just took a new pic today & I'll email you one.

JUST GO DOWN TO YOUR LOCAL HONDA DEALER AND BUY A 400EX. GUARANTEED NOT TO REGRET IT. DON'T LOOK BACK THOUGH CAUSE YOU'LL FINDYOURSELF LAYING ON THE GROUND. BUT MAN IT IS AN AWSOME WORKING MACHINE. BUT ITS ABOUT TIME FOR KAWASAKI TO COME OUT WITH ONE TO. WHAT DO YOU THINK?

300 ex or 400 ex. remember the 300 ex has reverse which can really help out on a tight trail.I'm 15 and only 5'7" so the 300 ex is fine for me. My dada is 6'3" and says he feels just a little cramped on it.ok man later

primey, the March issue of 4 wheel ATV Action has a shootout of the Mojave, 300ex, Warrior and Blaster. They say that the Mojave is similar in size to the Blaster, which would be way too small for your size. I would recommend you looking at a Warrior or a Polaris Sport 400/Scrambler 400.
The Polaris chassis feels really good for the larger rider, with plenty of leg room and a comfortable seat.

Good luck
