I'm in the market for another quad, I have a Honda 400EX and I love it. Now I'm ready to add another ATV to my family. I'm looking for some pros and cons to owning a banshee. I know with my 4 Stroke maintenance is pretty basic, how is it on the banshee. I do all types of riding, we own 160 acres and I have a 1 mile track setup with a verity of terrain. How reliable is a banshee? Please feel free to give more feedback than just what I asked. The reason I'm asking about a banshee is because I can get a great deal on one if I act quickly.

Thanks,

lol if you think your EX is basic than the banshee might be non-exhistant. The banshee has way less moving parts, no valves all that junk. Think of the banshee as the Marine of the sport quad market. K.I.S.S. (keep it simple stupid) is definatly in effect.

They are a pain to start when it's cold, but a little choke and a few kicks is all I have ever had to do. Now with other things, chain, swingarm all that stuff is average... Stock tires are horrible. The air filter design is pathetic (48 dollar fix) (pro-flow adapter).

Pipes Kick the shee's but, they really make them scoot, you can destroy a piped EX and still stomp most 440EX's with 600$ in pipes...

Just an little help for ya...

Hi
You have to buy the parts twice,2plugs,2carbs to tune and 2pipes but if it's runnng good it's good. Buy it if it's a steal.Good luck.

Cannondale.......beats a Banshee and has 4 stroke reliability. The choice is yours.

There isn't as much work to a 2-stroke as people try to make out, so don't let that be the deciding factor. Those people must just be lazy. As far as the Cannondale goes, it will outrun a banshee stock vs. stock. Just depends on how much you want to spend.
