Hello everyone. I am new here and I am looking to buy a sport quad. I have ridden Scramblers and 300EX's quite often. I have been on the MX track a few times, just screwing around. I have mostly ridden woods trails. I am 6' 165lbs with moderate experience on faster bikes. I have a couple of questions:
1) Should i buy new or used?
2) What quad would you recommend?

I am waiting on my buddy's new Z400 to finish its break in period so i can ride it. I love 400EX's, the 300ex my old roomate had just seemed cramped to me. I would prefer reverse and definately want a clutch. Any ideas or advice guys? I think a new green Z is calling my name. Thanks

The Z is a great bike, and I would recommend it as your first choice. But, out here you can get a 400EX for like $1,300 less than a Z (the price of a 300EX!!), so if money is an issue, I tell my friends to go that route. In WV you are mostly going to trail ride, so either would work fine.
