4X4? Which One?
#1
I have decided after my last post (and a short ride on one), I decided that if I decide on a sport quad I'd choose the rapter. I'm 260 pounds, so the power advantage would benefit me a lot.
However after reading about the new sportsmans (600&700) with IRS, and the recent winter weather, I am reconsidering a 4X4 instead of a sport quad. The report (in ATV mag.) said they would do 100KMH and by the sounds of it the ride would be very comfortable for an all day trek. For me it will be a lot of money to lay out so I'd like to make the right choice the first time. Most of my riding is trails, some mud and some sand. I'm not interested in leaping tall buildings, but would like to still get the front end up if needed. Any advice or opinions would be greatly appreciated. I'd also like some feedback on reliability.
P.S. The machines I am currently considering are: Sportsman 600 & 700, Grizzly 660, and for a sport quad the Rapter.
