Default Help, getting a new ATV

I am getting a NEW ATV, and i need help on what to get. The biggest size i can go is a 400. I plan to be riding in the woods with and without premade trails, in feilds, and sometimes in sand and gravel pits. I have expirience riding my dads 400 4x4 utility. I want my ATV to be able to run good going slow, i dont want it to bog down if im going too slow, i want it to have good ground clearance, and i also want it to be able to run good fast, i want good power, and good torque, lastly i want it to have a reverse. The price doesnt matter, i just need some suggestions on which ATV to get. I am 16 and over 6 feet, any ideas??? thanks

You'll get a lot of opinions.

My opinion is an Arctic Cat 300 4x4. It has low and super low ranges for unbeatable power/torque. Great ground clearance. Largest gas tank. has reverse in all 3 ranges. Because price doesn't matter, maybe you want one of the bigger cats? I don't know much about them. I'm 6'4" 240# and drive an AC 250 - it has all the power and speed I could want.

Hello and welcome abord. I currently have an 02 Kodiak (400). I'm not sure if you are at all interested in Auto atv's or not but I think you should concider the 400 Kodiak or the 450 Kodiak if you require low range. The difference in price is a few hundred dollars.

Good luck and happy shopping.

i think the kodiak is a good choice too....and if you don't like belts, the rancher 400 (new this year) might be worth having a look at.

Any of the 400 class automatics would be good. The 400 Sportsman or 400 Kodiak are great machine that are under rated.

Bombardier Outlander 400! This one outperforms any other 400 out there. It has independent suspension and decent weight. I just got mine last week and I love it.
