Ready to buy: Wolverine vs Big Bear
#1
I'm 16 5'7 125lbs and finally ready to buy, or should I say finance, an atv. I've limited my choices down to the wolv. or bb and I don't know which. I like the wolv because it has speed, but I've also heard that it doesn't have low rpm torque, and you can't just take it easy on rough terrain. I like the Bear cause it has the torque and you can get over just about anything at any speed. would the bear be too much quad for me?
I do plan on riding hard on the trails, and the occasional mud bogging. I will probably also be using the quad to pull stuff around the yard.
thanx for an help

Well I own a '99 Wolverine and I'm very happy with it. I've pulled things, mud bogged, climbed anything my friends have and had no problems. The lack of low end torque that everyone talks about hasn't bothered me, I've never lacked torque when I need it! So I was say unless you need a low-end torque monster like the Grizzly, the Wolv will suit your needs fine....I've never ridden a Big Bear but I'm sure it's a nice quad...I just like a little more sport in my step that's all....just me .02
