Hi. I am 13 years old, but i am not the biggest guy around (almost 70 pounds). I have a 90cc quad, but i am looking for something new. I want something a little bigger, but my parents dont think its a good idea because of the age restrictions, and i am too small. Is there an atv that might be good for my age and size, even if the age requirements are over 16. I am looking more towards a utility quad, like a Recon, but it dosnt matter what it is. Is there any way to convince my parents that they are safe enough for me? Thanks!

Well I'll tell you what, you would be better off with a recon because they are fun and you can't real wild on them. When or if you buy the recon,
make shure that you test drive it first and see what you'r parents think of it.

get a yamaha blaster..

you could tear up with that thing at 70lbs! And, if you parents are worried about speed and such it has a throttle limiter..!

I think those age limits are stupid. My Trailblazer had a Limit of 18! come on!

You could go out and buy the biggest darn dirt bike you want without worring about age restrictions.

I agree with an earlier post check out the blaster or the Mojave' for that matter I started riding 3-wheelers when I was 10 and got my Mojave when I was about your age and since you have ATV experience it sounds like you can handle it. The toughest thing for me at a light weight was to kick start the bike but after a while it was no problem. Good Luck !!

forget the blasters, they are only if you want to race and "tear up things". Get the Recon and have a great ride!
