Default Help me with a tough choice - which mini?

I have purchased several ATV's but have struggled more with which Mini to buy than ever before. I have owned a TRX 90 for my son who is now married but I was never happy with the pull starter. I am considering the Suzuki Quadsport 80 but I wonder if the new Polaris Predator 90 is a greatly improved quad. It doesn't appear to be build as well when visually comparing the two. I want something reliable but fun to ride. Which quad of all the brands would you choose?
Thank you for you input.

I would look into Kasea Skyhawk if I was buying. I'm not sure how reliable the Kasea would be. Kasea has just caught my eye for some reason. There are so many mini's out right now, I can understand why it's hard to choose.

I would stay with the honda 90 even though there is no electric start.
I bought my 10 yr. old a dinli 90 the t-rex last winter it lasted about 1200
miles of hard trail riding and that was it. The little two strokes suck up alot
of gas so your refueling them about every two hours . The honda is bullet
proof and it's one of the bigger 90's out there. My boy is going to be 12 this year
so he's on a yamaha 125 breeze now it's nice auto with elec. start and reverse
you might want to look at them also.

Ride what you like and ride it hard.

I hate to say it, but I would stick with the TRX 90 too. My boy is really hard on his and its never given us a lick of problems yet. I've never had to do anything at all to it. I've never adjusted the chain or anything. It still starts on the first pull. As soon as my boy was 9 he never had any more trouble with the pull starter. My biggest complaint would be the location of the choke. Some of my buddies kids have some of the cheaper brands and are always having trouble. We rode this past friday and had to pull one of them back to the trailer, its always stupid stuff, this time the bolt that attaches the carrier to the swingarm fell out. It was a Lifan brand, I'm not sure what size it is, but I think its like a 125, and the 90 will beat it just about anywhere. I'm not sure about the Suzuki 80 though, I've never been around them much. I just know I'm getting lazy, and tired of two strokes. What ever you get good luck. DennisC

I bought my daughter a Kasea Skyhawk 50. Her cousin has the 90. They are well built...now. At first they were just like the copy-cats and pretty cheaply built. If you can take a look at one up close you will see that they are pretty impressive.

It has electric start with a kick start back-up. The choke is an automatic which I'm still undecided if I like...but it still starts every time. The big thing for me was the foot brake.

After checking out the aftermarket parts for it I'm sure it will be around for as long as she can physically fit on it. I also think it is one of the nicer looking quads around.

Check out Hetrick Racing's hop up parts.

I agree with Dennis - stick with the TRX 90.

My oldest son, now 11 1/2 has ridden one for over three years with only routine maintenance. And that's on rough trails like Coal Creek, Royal Blue and even long all day rides in central Wisconsin. Although soon he'll outgrow the 90, I know that it will still be running six years from now when my 5 year old is 11 too.
