Camo finish is rubbing off in spots

Default Camo finish is rubbing off in spots
Around the edges of wheel wells and fenders, the camo finish has been rubbed off by branches, foliage, etc. Thinking of touching up with small amount of camo paint and then applying clear paint protector "skin". Its just real durable plastic.

Thoughts?
