Bad ECM or something easier?
I have a 2007 Outlander 650XT that I'm wondering if the ECM is shot. The machine turns over and has spark at each cylinder and fuel to the rail/injectors:
1. Injectors have 12.25V going to them
2. Pump has 12.25v at connection
3. Injectors are at 13.9 and 14.3 for resistance
I unbolted the intake from the heads (to get a confirmed visual) and left the whole fuel rail assembled. Cycle the key to on, fuel pump takes off...no gas. Now, if I unplug either injector and jump it directly with 11.6v (RC airplane bat) while the key on, gas comes spraying out no issue.
Fuse is good for injectors, diodes are good, relays are good. I checked the TPS, CPS, CAPS and everything I can find in the shop manual to check and voltage/resistance is within specs. Injectors work and have 12v to them but won't open unless jumped?
Is this a ECM issue, is it shot? There are no "P" codes on the display and everything on the quad functions fine. I know I can get the local shop to check it out but thats $70 at least that I could put towards a new one and just get them to program it.
