Hi, I am 15 years old. About 155lbs and 5'10 I want to buy a can am renegade. The one I'm looking at has 2500kms, a snorkel kit and a 3000lb winch for 5000$ good deal? I want to use it for mud and I AM NOT NEW TO ATVS riding whole life. Should I get 800 or stick with this 500 ![Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)](https://atvconnection.com/forums/images/smilies/rolleyes.gif)

I'd make sure that you get the quad checked over thoroughly before you buy it. If it's set up for mud it's probably had a hard life so far. That being said the Renegade 500 has quite a bit of power. In low gear my son has gone through everything the heavier utility quads has and that without dedicated mud tires. We've been in front rack deep mud and water holes and he's made it through everywhere the bigger machines have. The 800 has the ability to spin the tires faster but I've never seen my son needing more power.
