Can am outlander 650 2011

Hello,
I am new to riding an atv and am just searching for more info, what common problems does this model have? What would the regular maintenance be? Also, it has 11900 km should I be worried about that? It has a snorkel with raised transmission also.

Personally, I would avoid a modified quad with that kind of mileage. Snorkeled quad usually mean it's been in deep water and mud which contribute a lot of wear and tear. Also, it is an older 4wd system Can-Am had that comes on slowly unless it has the Visco-Lok QE. A common problem with all Can-Ams is shifting. It can be very stiff. There is a bearing that needs to be lubed up that can be a pain shifting in and out of Hi, LO, N, and P. As far as regular maintenance goes, it's about the same as any other ATV with a drive belt. I don't remember details but you might be able to find an owner's manual or a service manual on line.
