Here's the scoop. As of right now alcohol is permitted in any of the day use/camp grounds. None on the dunes. If your sand camping.. no booze. So basically if your on pavement your good. This info came from the forestry service official at Driftwood II

 

how was the sand this weekend?

 

Just enough rain early in the morning sat to firm up the sand. It made for some great jumps off the razorbacks[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

 

Oh, and believe it or not it was PACKED, only 3 camping spots left when we got there sat morning. But the weather was awesome Sat and sun[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] It was a good trip!

btw: The sound cops were out as well, first time I have seen them be that aggressive. They didn't bother me but there was more than a few very loud dirt bikes and banshees.
