we all talk about parts and who is high and who is cheap. i ordered a piston from gary at tvi, wanted to up my compression. well ordered on friday and monday my piston shows up, well being ready to take the engine apart i call gary to ask a question, about valve clearance, and he is like hold on check your oil rings to see if they fit, so come to find out they don't gary tells me to expect rings wed be cause it was to late on monday to get them out. well since this is recreation no big deal well about 10 the next morning i get a call from j&e to confirm everything on shipping. the guy let me know gary made a point to him to get me my rings no matter what(even if he had to pay). well i just wanted to share this with you guys, gary runs a dealership yet i got what i felt was great service over a small item. and for you guys that think he is high on price, ever heard of frequent flyer miles[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

 

I agree i have called gary on many ocasions and he alway's takes good care of me. Atleast he has figuerd this out!!
A quality co sells service not product !! And im alway's willing to pay a tad more for service[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-cool.gif[/img]

Glad to hear a company out there going the extra mile to help out people. It can only bring more business his way. We know what happens when the customer service goes in the dumps ie. missing pami motors.

 

MUST READ!!!!! Its nice to hear that customer service exists!!!! besides samcoe performance and tvi which in my experience have good service... hear in Vegas ive had my motor sabatoged by MARINE PRO SHOP , the mechanic ripped my o-ring out of my sleeve and in the process chipped my sleeve also and he did not even let me know what he had done!, then he told me to just go ride it, my valve clearance was off so bad it was rediculas, this is after i have tipped the mechanic ungodly amounts of money and payed for a valve job amoung other things!!!!!! my lawyer is drulling! i am not trying to hurt there bussiness but i just dont want this to happen to anyone else. to top it all off i saw a comercial the other day from this same shop [MARINE PRO SHOP] VERY DIS_TASTEFULL they had the prime minister of Irac standing in front of lake Mead talking as if it was a live news break talking about jet skiing [this is just a comercial]!!!!!!!!!!! they now have associated our nations biggest enemy with Lake mead just to gain bussiness, and they think this is funny!I called the park and recreation center and they were furious... my son asked me if we are going to war with lake Mead!! hes only 8 years old...what kind of message does this send?.. if anyone wants to voice there opinion to this bombadier dealership [Marine Pro Shop] feel free.to call them they are in Henderson Nevada

 

Oh man!!! You have got to be kidding me!!!! Marine Pro has stooped to that level!!!????[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif[/img] Oh That Tears it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You know I really didn't want to say anything, but when they did my swingarm they messed up my back brakes and that is what caused me to get Maytagged at Gorman that one weekend!!! THey are very untrustworthy over there, and now I can't believe they would put Iraqi's on a commercial to promote there failing business![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-disgusted.gif[/img] I have one more thing to say, Beware of MARINE PRO PRODUCTS!!!!

 

Wow, I feel fortunate to live so close to TVI! [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img] I too have had nothing but good luck with Gary. I bought 2 quads from him and will keep going back because of the great service. I sure hope his luck is better at FSW next year!

 

Luckily Samcoe performance is pulling through for me this time, hes dumping a 763 stroker kit in addition to my 720, i talked to him this morning and he said this kit is very reliable... I will be posting dyno reports within 3 weeks and I will be shocked if it is not in high 70s, well see., by the way GARY at T.V.I. IS a good bussiness man, he just needs to be notified NOT to do business with marine pro shop, they wont install Garys kits the right way and may possibly taint tvi' s reputation!!!!!!
