Is this a production or a doctored photo? Makes me want to go out and paint my lower half black. I agree it looks much better, kind of like the new Yellow Outlander XT's that have a 2-toned look.

 

Its doctored ...I just did it on Photoshop.. took me 5 minutes.. It looks TONS better

You know, i thought of a different thing you can do. You can get it sprayed with something like rhino lining or something like that.. I dont think it would look bad and it would certainly help it from getting all scratched up.. But then agian im not to familiar with this stuff...

 

Not a bad idea,probably doesnt scratch like the bomb plastic does.

 

Actually, when I considered getting an Outlander, I was going to take that piece you've blacked out and spray it with truck bed-liner. That way it would be black, grippy and tough. Looks nice.
