Default Outlander pulling

I am considering a Outlander for a general purpose quad, but I need it to be able to tow/skid as well. I will be using it to skid out moose (1,000 +/- lbs)) and need to know if the visco lock and "low" range is up to the task. Any help/experience advce would be appreciated.

I have an Outlander & use it for firewood right now, it'll do you moose pull no problem just use low range, the Visco lock system unlike other 3wd wheelers does work. Where you from Moosehunter?

Sault Ste. Marie. Thanks for the info. That 3 year coverage is a definite plus. I was really impressed with the Outlander.

Thanks again
