Turbo for DS
I attended the BigBoysToys show in Phoenix yesterday and had a chance to check out the KMS Turbo system for the DS. Looks like it might be a hot setup as it will include EFI & Intercooler. It's also compatible for those running Nitrous or Alcohol.
They also have an exhaust slip-on (coming soon) for the DS which is suited for their Turbo. It's called the "Crazy Tip".
They had the stock exhaust (mid-pipe & tip) installed but had to change the header somewhat to get everything to fit.
The installation was pretty clean and looked simple to install.
They are estimating about 75 HP with their Stage 1 setup on a stock motor & carb.
I asked them if this was based on a DYNO run and it was not. They indicated they would be running their Turbo setup on a DYNO soon to verify the HP gain.
No firm prices yet however, they indicated around $3,500.00 for the works, maybe less if more are ordered.

That is a good price if it includes EFI and intercooler.
If anyone is interested in a turbo, I have parts:
I don't have an entire setup - you'd have to modify the fuel delivery setup for carb. I have the intercooler and chrome pipes, rebuilt turbo with header and tailpipe, airbox that might be able to be adapted to your carb setup or too use as a guide for making a new one. I don't recommend running high boost with these aerocharger turbos. I can set the minimum boost where you want it.

Okaaaaay... so does that mean I can send you an email??
I'm not sure if I want to Turbo my DS. So I need to know pros and cons.
I've already emailed KMS... but that could take a while to get a response.
