Aledo whats it like
#3
Aledo, consists of a 20 acre field mostly tall grass, surrounded by trees with trials. On one side of the field along the long tree-row, Mark has made a small, but fun beginers motoX track to play on. Next to it, he has mowed the grass, and has made a simple drag strip marked of 300' and 660'ft. The soil is hard dirt. when watered down it hooks up really well, but if it is hot and dry, the starting line can get slick, and dusty.
Their is plenty of room for any size rig! I think their is a couple of electical outlets, but I would plan on bringing a generator. Thier are nO water hook-ups.
Their is no times, or lights(mark may change that this year). It is as Layed back as you can get, thier is NO Pressure to meet a time line,or even race, You race who you want when you want all day. When the actual races start, each class is raced 2 by 2 till thier is a winner, and when the "races" are over, ITS GRUDGE TIME!! you will have a short list of people that you want to race agian, or vise-versa.
After the sun sets and the races stop, Mark, and friends put on a Pretty damn good little Fireworks display! he goes through about a Grand of Fireworks in 30 minutes! Then its beer drinking around the campfire and Shooting the ****. till one by one everyone goes to
Ofcourse I left out the Dyno, Cook out, and other stuff, but in a Nut-shell That is what Aledo is like!
