That great wide open aint for me to live in, but I sure do love visiting it! Next year, we're thinking Walden Colorado - any input??

hey wshrdskin - did I mention that your website and all its videos were some of the greatest inspiration we had in preparing for this trip? thanks for all that dude, it really helped us to decide on going, and we're all plenty glad we went.

Well, if not, you did now. Glad it helped you out.
Those places are great fun and everyone should try and find a way to get to them. I'll be having family in Oregon as soon as this summer (oops, thats now) and I'm sure the wife will want to see them from time to time so, the Oregon Dunes will one day be part of that website. Looking forward to that.

Good to hear your trip was a success( any time you and the bike make it back in one piece it's a success!) It was good to meet you and your crew, I enjoyed our ride albeit it was brief. Look forward to the next one

Hightower, from what I understand, Waldon is good riding but pretty small. I think after riding those 2 areas you would be pretty disapointed in Walden. I would recommend coming farther west and hitting Sand Mtn Nev then maybe up to the Oregon Dunes. I have seen pics that look unbeleivable pretty. Sorry i missed you guys but maybe next year.

Well it was good riding with you guys. Sorry about the temps those are usually a lot lower this time of year but we were in a hell of a hot spell for a while. It is funny because it just snowed on top of the mountains yesterday and the temps are in the 60's now!! Well hope you decide to make the trip out again sometime and we will get to ride some more.

I only have a quick minute, but I want to say that those dunes out there are F'ing awesome!! I had the time of my life!!! Sorry Utah guys, but Idaho really rocked my world! I love that place, just not the best campgrounds that we wound up staying in. Utah had nicer campgrounds I thought.
The bowls in Idaho are unbelievable! My dream come true! Devil's dune is a rush to climb too..... Choke Cherry could choke it's cherry on Devil's Dune!! hehe God what a massive pile of sand to climb!
Thanks to EVERYONE that we met, for your hospitality and help through out our stay! It wouldn't have been anywhere near as fun without all of you guys...... and gals! Thanks for the bowl tour Sandgod and Sandgoddess! That was the best ride of my trip to Lil Sahara Utah ~ thanks y'all!
OH and BTW - the Dutch Oven was killer!! Thanks!
Other than the video that I took while out there, I have 184 digital pictures also!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Pics to come guys!

hey guys same here on the thanks for hospitality and the good dutch oven supper!!!!!!!!
me and lena just got back from the trip last night , we were sight seeing for about a week at yellowstone and rushmore and the badlands. we almost got caught in the tornados at south dakota. missed em by a 100 miles.
we had a great time at the dunes in both places, and was some good riding with a lot of good guys!
cant wait till next time!
