WOW!!! Snapped a 530 chain?!?!?! I would think there musta been sumpin wrong with it, sprockets or both. I ran a 530 on my 00 'Busa and never had a problem(172rwhp, 104ft/lbs TQ). I was'nt easy on it either! Pulled mid 1.5 60's on pavement with it...

Usually its something else. To tight, or Clip comes off, or something. Mine came off when my old mechanic left the subframe bolts poking the chain. The caused the clip to get knocked off and BAM! LOL

The sprockets look fine, and i had about an inch of play in chain slack, i dont understand it, this chain looks skinnier than another one that i have...maybe it was a tad bit too tight but i dont think that would have done it...

Well, the 530 chain ripped my case saver to shreads after it ripped it out of the case - I was only going 5 mph! So, you must have had a lighter chain. Have you had the subframe off lately?

No, the subframe bolt had no evidence of chain making contact, evreything is clear and no i have not had the subframe off,my case saver is tacoed and gouged and the bolts that hold in case saver were ripped half way out and bent!! the case is still salvageable though, maybe i had a smaller [in width] chain ? i dunno, I looked at the chain and the middle roller part is broke away from side.. maybe just a weak chain overall..thanks for input guys what size heavy duty chain would be safe?
