I'm looking to switch to a twist throttle and I was wondering what everyone is using. What one has a good twist rate for trail riding?

 

Motion Pro. for trail riding you want the CR Comp twist throttle, for drags you want the Vortex twist throttle.

 

Where can you buy the CR comp throttle? Is that the one Rocky Mountain sells? Will it open a lectron 44 without any problems? Sorry for all the questions, I just want to get the right one.

 

Not sure if it will work with the Lectron. You can call them and find out. You can also find a dealer close to you from them. They are in San Carlos, California.

 

I went from the motion pro cr comp to the magura 314 duo and i run the dual 40mm lectrons. I didnt like the motion pro. Had to reach clear around to get full throttle. The magura has two different settings mx and enduro. Two throttles in one and there only 15.99 from dennis kirk. The part number is 57-239. Ph # 1-800-328-9280

 

What's the difference in the Comp and the Vortex?

 

I got the motion pro on mine and love it.

The comp is 1/4 twist and the vortex is 1/8 twist.
