well don't laugh, i made some small jumpers ther e about a inch and a half long, cripped some flat plugs you'll find them at the auto parts store like a dollar, and then a little black tape and it all works. i'll be the first to admitted i don't like this way but it will work a good long time and i needed a head light after looking at the x yesterday i think i'm going to work on my mounting a little more, i like the look of it recessed a little. when i look at my two ds's i really like the looks of the new light, much better, and the look of the black trim help break up the all yellow front.

is the trim required, I mean can you use the new light without the trim, or does it look dumb? does it look just like the stocker but with twin beams, or is the shape and stuff different making the trim piece a must?
Hey when you get pics, can you post one with and one without the trim, if its not too much bother? Sandman particular, cause your bike is yeller.

just measured and the stock one is about 12" wide and the new one is about 10" wide and about 1/2 " taller so you could get bye with out the trim but you would see more wires behind the light.
