Default Back and Running!

After a few days and a few hundred choice words, The Sand Yacht is back and running strong. The shift acctuator broke and the bearing on the shaft inside the clutch basket was worn. That one took alittle while to figure out. But It shifts hard and doesnt have that down shift problems anymore. Cant wait to make it back to the dunes for some racing.

I forgot the exact price on the actuator I think it was around $20. The bearing I got at a parts store for $5. Works great. The bearing had somehow worked itself sideways and had started to wear out. That is why I was getting that funny vibration when I pulled the clutch in while still in motion and why it was alittle tough to find neutral. So better to be safe than sorry.

That would be cool. Try his video forum. He has one of me racing a modded Raptor and a 465ex. That ex was extremely fast. He was giving alot of the big bore banshees problems.

Glad it wasn't too much trouble for you, but it always seems like things break at the worst times don't they.

OK so we are trying to get the TX guys to LA Dunes either the last weekend of Sept or Oct. Any preferance from ya'll???
RaptrRidrTX has a ride the second to last weekend in Sept, but he said he would like to make it out anyway.
Ernie said he would come.
Buttfungus too.
So did 14mins.
Hopefully he can pursuade RRC, Crafty, and RCR to come as well.

BigDS, Mr Meaner whatcha think?
