Ironrod LOL(that still cracks me up) You could chrome it, just make sure it is really clean of anything that was already on it.

Same goes for the stock headpipes, they could be done as well. Why would you want to though???? For the cost of chroming you could have better pipes.

Demon,

I'm getting it chromed because I still have yet to find a higher performance pipe, regardless of DB level, than the Ron Wood Pipe. But, its not the best looking pipe because the glaze burns off over time. So, why not?

Rod, I have always said if it is performance you want and to hell with the rest the RWR pipe is the way to go. I would love to see a head to head of the MBRP and the Trinity and RWR pipe all done on the same machine, on the same dyno on the same day. I still beleive the RWR will come out on top.

As for the why comment that was meant for pushin, sorry

Well, I have the MBRP & RWR, and from a performance standpoint, there is no way I would run anything but a RWR in a competition. I think the finish on the RWR pipe, is its shortfall. Therefore, off to the chromeshop it goes!

You can also look into Jet Hot Ceramic coatings They have a "sterling" coating that is suppose to look like chrome. Plus, this stuff resists temps up to 1300 degrees, and it will keep the temp on your pipe lower.
