went and got a clamp kit and it isn't goint to look good with the lower stock part in there.has anyone used the one from trail tech yet? i saw the alba one but didn't see a listing for fat bars on line.

 

I just put on the trail tech, looks nice, I'll try to post a pic later. The bar clamp is polished, so I got the polished bars.

 

i used a universal kit from pro taper, works fine and clears the tank

 

Ditto. When I had the stock stem, thats what I did.

 

I'm trying to decide if I should change my bars. I hope I don't sound too dumb. But why are you changing yours? Are the stock ones too weak? Or, are you going for a better riding position?

 

mrs sandman aired out a monster jump and didn't land well there a little bent.

Click on the camera icon and look at photo 11.. The trail Tech bars and clamp...mine is with the speedo kit..the bad part is with the speedo kit it blocks most of the dash, I had to move the neutral light.

 

well i ordered a trail tech and it was only 56.00 seems the universal was 49.00 and doesn't really fit well. and mrs sandman has scaled her jumping back a little 30 foot is about all she goes now, plus we discuss brake and trottle control more now.
