MGI Video Wave 5 is pretty fast and easy but is limited with the audio capabilities. Adobe Premier 6 is what I use, much more powerful but expensive and not as fast and easy.

 

I use SonicFoundry Vegas 4.0



It is probably the most powerful audio/video program on the planet...but it's price tag is a low-blow. My uncle does professional video editing so I uh, burrowed his copy..

Vegas is no doubt the most powerful video editing suite in the AUDIO department...because it shares some of the components of SonicFoundry SoundForge 6...which is the world leading audio editing program.


But the price is insane... List price is 699$ USD...but you can get them for 489$ USD from the SonicFoundry website...

I also use Vegas 4.0

Costly... but worth it in Gold.
You can nab it off Ebay, but be careful that it's got a manual with it.
