A group of us went riding at Florence yesterday and were able to see this prototype Raptor 660R dual exhaust. Check it out..

for the oregon dunes it would be nice to see a system like that for the ds. someone should try and get those so we could buy them they made good power but they were so quite that would be nice no worry of a ticket.

You know I have been thinking on that subject non-stop for the last several hours. I don't know if anything will come out of my big noodle exersize, but it would seem to me, that a guy could take a relatively low cost effective muffler, like the Big Gun, or FMF, combine it with the MBRP Header, and weld in a trick connecting point and you would have all the flow you'd need along with it being very quiet.

I guess if you are trying to make a quiet system that is the way to go, but is it really worth the trouble, extra expense, and especially the extra weight?! It just doesn't seem to make too much sense to me for the average rider.

well if the power gains he claimed are ture and it appears they could have been, they might be worth it. plus it is about $100 a pop for a loud pipe at the oregon dunes.

Exactly. While Alaska may not have the noise concerns, Oregon and now California do. Its on our minds all the time! and worth the $.

There was a thread on the dual exhaust topic a little while back, and by the looks of it that raptor owner got the duals from the same guy that was mentioned in the thread. They came from lteracing.com. Really cool setup i think. Wish i would had seen those when i owned my raptor. The guy from lteracing is currently working on a setup for the DS.
