I took up smoking this weekend in Silver Lake
OOPs,
anyway, as some of you read last week, I just finished building my DS last week and had the dyno testing done. You were all correct. The jetting was way to rich. I ended up with a 152.5 main with around 97 octane gas. Unbelievable. I have never launched so hard in my life riding quads or bikes. I got the hole shot starting in second gear reving around 6500 then WOT. When I hit third gear, I was litterally laying across my handlebars with the front end about 1 foot off the ground. I could have left my goggles back at the truck, nothing but wide open spaces in front of me. By the time I hit 4th gear, I couldnt hear those banshees anymore. Silver lake was packed this weekend with plenty of drag racing going on. I was beat by 1 banshee and some 500cc Honda 2 stroke 3 wheeler. I couldnt catch these guys if my life depended upon it. What a fantastic begining to an expensive venture. The club I was with said " boy that thing sure is running strong", I said no sh$$. My friend with the raptor, with the same mods you read about, he was right behind me about 2 lengths every race. I do have one question though. How come these banshee boys get so pissed when they dont win???? I got nothing but dirty looks after about the tenth race. What an fantastic ride. I cant wait to resize the valves this winter and move up with the piston compression along with a few goodies that im working on. Anyway, I just wanted to say thanks to all of you that helped with the last minute questions, you guys were spot on with the answers and I would like to buy you all a drink at Little Sahara Oklahoma this fall. My club is planning a trip either late september or early october.

Change post !!!!! Damn !!! they think their machines are the best out there withall the talk of smack ...there is no way yadda yadda yadda and when someone does whip up on em ohh look out your lucky they dont try and bust a cap in ya a$$!

I will definately let you guys know when we can get out there. Im from Lake Geneva Wi and this will be about a 14 hour drive one way for me. It would be a great sight with plenty of roost to get an entire starting line full of DS's. I felt like hanging a sign on my grab bar saying, " If you can read this, you must be loosing". lol
