I've been using the Bombardier synthetic, not all that expensive and I use Amsoil synthetic in my truck. I also have read about a Amsoil 4 Stoke synthetic for atv's and motocycles that I'm going to look into. RICH

Valvoline Motorcycle oil. Cost is little and works great.

I tried the RedLine synthetic for over a year. In my opinion it's way to slick and it changes the characteristics of the clutch pads. Once the pure sythetic oil is on the pads, its there forever. It will have a much greater tendency to slip once you use it. Then, you'll be forced to run very heavy clutch springs. Not to mention the oil is at least $9.95 a quart. Just something to consider ... To each his own ..

I run the Redline 20-50 synthetic also. I haven't had any clutch slippage, but my DS is not too far off stock either.
