Default +8" Chromoly ASR Swingarm

Just got my american star +8" chromoly swingarm. This replaces my bent & twisted +8" aluminum TVI swigarm. The ASR +8" chromoly weighs around 15lbs which is about what the TVI +8" aluminum weighs. I don't think there will be any chain clearance issues with the ASR.

Does asr have a web site? If not how would you get ahold of them?

Try searching for the "American Star Racing" website on Yahoo, Google, or MSN search.

kinda off topic, but I was biffed when I found out the front and rear tubes are generally not chromoly. Pretty much, if they have to machine it or tighten it, it's not chromoly......The rest of the parts are.

After I pondered the statement it made more sense, but I just figured for the amount they charge, the whole thing was chromoly.

it's light enough for my needs. the shorter swingarms are even lighter. stock weighs around 21lbs. there are several others making swingarms that cost a lot more.
