I am reading atv action magazine ( June 2003), it has the 03 review of the ds and a "first look" article about the 04. The review specs say dry weight is 460 lbs. The "first look" article says the 04 is 20 lbs lighter. Also, the dirt wheels August 2003 issue reports the 04 is 40 lbs lighter. The bombardier web specs say the weight is 470 lbs. Who should I believe? If the wheel base is shorter, how does this effect the handling of the quad? Also, if the width of the quad is more narrow, how does this effect the handling as well?

Should be easier to wheely. I dont think it will be as fast in drags. Yes its lighter, but it has a shorter swingarm. May affect the launching ability, hence, slowing down some. We will have to wait and see.
