Great Video !!!! I have had a similar run in the mud w/ my DS. Our Rancher seems to take it a lot better.

Nice Video man!

Looks like you can ride those wheelies pretty damn good now eh?

Wish I could wheelie like that... If I pop the clutch in any gear all I do is spin spin spin, roost on myself, spin some more and go nowhere...

Maybe thats exagerated but I cannot hook up whatsoever...

Trying to lift it high enough in 1st gear without using the clutch doesn't work... I can lift in 2nd with power WHEN I have traction but I can't really get it to stay up there, although I haven't practiced much...

I figured in that pic, you dropped the clutch in 1st and shifted all the way to 3rd?? I know it's probably easier for a big guy to wheelie because it makes the balance point lower so you don't have to lean back as much..

One last question, when shifting during a wheelie, do you just shift as normal (open clutch, release gas, close, give gas)??

I need like a wheelie clinic or something... I'm tired of my 400ex buddies wheelying till they run out of room and all I have to show is like 10 feet... Although I can blow by them at anytime

Yes Tyre.....1st through 3rd in that vid clip.I shift as you normally would. The biggest thing in keeping a wheelie up is riding at the balancing point. If you power wheelie it wont stay up.You have to get to the balance point to stay up.

With good traction and a little tug on the bars I can wheelie in third. With REALLY GOOD traction in third it will come up fast enough to bend a PRM rear bumper. I can't seem to hit a shift without losing the balance point... a fourth gear wheelie would be cool.

I like that idea about a wheelie clinic...
