If its not possible to use a paddle , what would be a good "general " tyre that would work well in both sand and trails ????
I have tried shredders, razors etc but they tend to slide too much in sand ....
would the Sure trak be a good all round (run backwards ...with the tread facing the other way )??
as per the arrow direction on the tyre !!!
appreciate the thoughst as i am struggling big time !!
cheers

well i haven't used them in the sand in long time, but then again we don't have pure sand, but in the snow they throw huge roosts, like goin down the river in the winter i can throw about 25' long roost in 5th cruising, they dig in very wheel in what a call paddle mode but you can turn them the other way for trail if you think they grab 2 much

When I went to Silver Lake Dunes with a couple of buddies of mine, one had a 250x with Sure Tracs turned around, the other guy had a Banshee with Realtors, both did real well, good traction and threw the sand real nice. For an all around tire, either one should work for you.

Howcome some people write tire with a y instead of an i = Tyre.
I just don't get it ...
