I think I'll trade in my DS for a Honda 450R.................[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img] NOT!

I may buy one just in case I find a kitty that likes to ride, but it's not even close to a even swap. Don't get me wrong, I have always been a Honda fan, but it's still to small for us bigger guys. I thought about loosing weight, but I already paid for it and I own it.

Now if it was a 650R with 12" of travel and 52" x 52" foot print, then it would be a different story.

I can't wait to see one in action, hopefully in Glamis in the next few months. If it's as good as Honda's past the it would be a fun toy.

 

Like you if Honda would have built a 650 or 700 with a wide stance I would have been reaching for the pocket book. I would keep my Ds but it would have a Honda sitting right beside it.

Its good to see all of these new "high performance" machines come out, but what really makes me feel good is to know that if I had 7,000 cash right now, I would go buy me another DS!! Its STILL the perfect quad for me[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

What i'm saying is I would get the Honda too. The aftermarket parts will probably be available days after the release not years.

As for the kick start, if it's tuned correctly it will start on 1/2 a kick.

 

if i were to buy any new quad, it'd either be a 450r or a baja x, no yamahas,suzukis,kawasakis or polaris

 

The YZF450 is pretty damn quick... but I noticed.. NO TORQUE. A 400 EX had more torque than that thing. I like my monster torque....The YZF was fast and all but it was a little small. It will defintely be a contender on a track and it is light. I prefer a Raptor over that tho... again the torque thing.

Yea, I'm probably getting a crotch rocket...

It's not that I don't like the DS, I love it actually...

But I will need to travel between the army base and home A LOT next summer, and to school, blah blah... I need some kind of transportation... Can't afford to insure a car around here.. So I'll probably get a 600 class Crotch rocket... I might even go to Team Blue (oh my god, did i just say that) with an R6... Who knows [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]
