I think I've decided to pass on the SSSS. It is always fun to go, however I have yet to buy anything useful (T-Shirts do NOT count!) I'm going to hit the Chaparral parking lot sale on the 27th. This is the true sale if you want to save some real cash on gear. If any of you have been there, you know it's real and the prices are actually reduced on -most- things. I know there was a guy from the chat room who has driven from Northern California to make it to this sale, if that sets any precedient as to how good of a sale it is. If you are looking for one of the really hard to find items, you'll have to get in line with the rest of the gang at like 4-6am. (Gates open at 8am - beware if you are inside at about, 10am if often fills up so much, you literally will have trouble walking!) I did that a couple of years, and the first year I came out with a FMF pipe for my LT250R fir $80 instead of $185 most places were asking. Now I go late in the day, when all of the vendors are looking all of the stuff they'll have to take down and then start making killer deals so they don't have to take it down! This year I'm thinking I need a gear bag, helmet, some more goggles, maybe some gloves and other goodies. The goggles and gloves are often $5, the bag should be like, $20-35 bucks, and helmets abound at all prices. If anyone needs more info let me know and I can email it to you. Oh yeah, it is a cash only deal, so you'ed better have a good wad ready - just in case.

 

I'll be there Sat, hope to see you guys there. It was a good show last year should be much the same this year. Maybe the new Honda 450 will be there for a sneak peek[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img] like the Kawi V... was last year.
