Marky....BigBaja (Scott) is running the 48. I think he has a 45 to 48 dyno comparison in his photo page.

The TM48 is good for around 3HP on top.

Ironrod, I like the 48mm alot, I run it with the accelorator pump and on alky, but it works great on gas..I do not believe that BigBajas dyno sheets were with the tm48mm dialed in the right way, when I asked sam if he fine tuned it for the dyno he told me he had no extra jets or anything for it, but i think it pulls more air than a 45 thats for sure. If dialed in properly it is impressive, but it is also a good workout until you get used to it [hard to twist].

How is it on the bottom? Any loss or bog that cant be tuned out with the pumper? Also, you have to convert to twist? One last question .. Did you get the ported intake manifild too?

Marky, BigWaynester has the TM48 on his 760, its the same carb body as the 45 and all parts interchange, so you can put on the light return spring for use with thumb throttle just like the 45, and the pull is super easy. and you can tweek the spring tension for use with pumper on thmub throttle as well, as i have done on my 45.
